Since its inception in 2003 and from its offices in Cairo, Ashoka Arab World (AAW) has pioneered and been the platform for social entrepreneurship across the MENA region, identifying and electing more than 100 of the region’s leading social entrepreneurs across 11 countries, creating a cumulative impact of more than 20 million beneficiaries and 15 policies changed.
